Blondie's Puppy Diary - Updated 4th September

---

Monday 4th September - What's left of the two litters going to the Vets for their second vaccinations.  We have two from Sniffy's litter and three from Blondie's and will make  our FINAL decision which we will keep soon, as we cannot keep all 5 of them!!

Thursday 24th August - Most of the puppies have now gone to their new homes, we have kept Orenberg Bilberry, Orenberg Blithe Sprit & Orenberg Bravo Romeo to "run on" for awhile to see how they turn out.

Orenberg Blithe Sprit (left) & Orenberg Bilberry, seen here eating their "Raw meaty Bones diet"  The puppies were raised on a combination of "Complete" food and raw food, they will soon go onto a totally raw diet, like our adults - they love it!!

Wednesday 16th August - 8 weeks old, went to the Vets for first vaccinations and healthcheck, some went to new homes today. Kennel Club Registration Certificates arrived, here are the names!

Tuesday 8th August - Toenails cut again!  Both litters are together now and are getting along well.

Saturday 29th July - All the puppies are eating well now and are having four feeds a day as well as Blondies milk

Wednesday 26th July - Second worming at 5 weeks old

Monday 24th July - Toenails cut again

Sunday 16th July -  Blistering hot day, far too hot for the puppies to be out in the sun so we put up the "Puppy pavilion" to keep them cool!

Saturday 15th July - Getting the hang of this eating lark! 24 days old.

Friday 14th July - Toenails cut again

Thursday 13th July - First outing into the garden, 22 days old.

The favourite at the moment, grizzle & tan bitch. Things could change again next week.

Sunday 9th July - Started puppies on their first solid food today, not impressed, much prefer Mothers milk!

Wednesday 5th July - 2 weeks old, wormed puppies for the first time

Tuesday 4th July - Puppies opening their eyes

Saturday 1st July - puppies nails clipped (all 126 of them!). Puppies knead their Mothers teats with their small paws to stimulate the flow of milk. Their nails grow very quickly, so they need to be trimmed regularly to prevent them from making their Mothers teats sore or from getting caught in their bedding.
